Welcome to this punnily titled blog.  It is my hope to make this blog a useful resource for folks who make wigs, wear wigs, use wigs, or just like wigs.  Because I create wigs for theatre and build wigs mostly for reenactors, impersonators, living historians and hobbyists, most of this blog content will reflect that.

I’ll be updating this blog regularly to discuss projects I’m working on and address common topics about wigs. I welcome questions from readers, so feel free to email me and I’ll try to answer your query in an upcoming blog. Likewise, feel free to suggest wig topics that may be of interest.

I’m going to close our maiden voyage with links to a few articles I’ve written on wig topics and other helpful resources I’ve created.

This is a link to my portfolio website – this page lists a number of articles such as “What About Wigs” and “Care and Feeding of Wigs” , as well as handouts from sessions I’ve presented at the annual USITT Conference.

If you follow this link, it will take you to the FAQ section of the website for the Custom Wig  Company, the home of my wig building business.  The FAQ discusses types of wigs, how to wear wigs and what to do to keep your wigs looking great!
