This video shows Mark putting on a wig, beard and mustache using an elastic strap and basic spirit gum.
When a beard has an elastic strap, the elastic does 90% of the work keeping the beard and makes application easier.
In most cases, liquid adhesive and/or double stick tape are only used to keep the beard in position around the mouth, rather than as the sole means of attaching the beard.
If a beard does not have an elastic strap, then the piece must be glued or tape to the face. Mustaches must be glued or taped on.
