Every so often, your custom wig or beard is going to need some TLC. We’re here for you – just fill out this form, and then you can send your wig to us.
Our Wig Cleaning and Maintenance Service includes:
- Inspection of your wig or piece for signs wear and tear, damage or shedding*
- Assessment of the piece’s condition, including any areas of future concern or suggestions for upkeep or handling.
- Repair or refurbishment consistent with standard wear and use.
- Shampooing the wig or piece and cleaning the lace and interior
- Restyling your wig
- Return shipping via standard USPS priority mail.
It can take up to 30 days for cleaning and maintenance. If you have an event coming up, check with us first and make sure we can have your wig ready in time!
Cleaning and maintenance is only available for pieces we created. For Santa wigs or beard, please enroll in our special Santa Care service.
The service is $100 per wig. At this time, our cleaning and maintenance service is only available for clients in the US.
About Repairs and Changes to Your Pieces
Our service includes the repair of wear or tear issues consistent with normal use and proper care and handling. That may include, but is not limited to, filling in lost hair, deep conditioning, repair or reinforcement of the foundation or lace.
The service does not include: repairs due to lack of proper care, loss of hair or damage to lace due to improper cleaning or maintenance, or other repairs or refurbishments outside the scope of normal, routine wear and tear. The service also does not include changing the color, length or density of the piece or significant alterations outside the scope of the original order.
We are happy to make major repairs or alter the pieces for you but those services are outside the scope of our Cleaning and Maintenance Service and will require an additional cost.
If you think your piece needs more significant work, either due to damage or simply to change things up a bit, you can still send it in for service. Just indicate on the form that your piece has additional needs and our coordinator will get in touch with you once your piece has arrived. She’ll let you know what options are available for your piece and what the costs will be.
