Cleaning and maintenance service for your custom wig

Every so often, your custom wig or beard is going to need some TLC. We’re here for you – just fill out the form at the bottom of the page.

Our Signature Wig Cleaning and Maintenance Service – $100

The service includes:

Inspection of your wig or piece for signs wear and tear, damage or shedding*
Assessment of the piece’s condition, including any areas of future concern or suggestions for upkeep or handling.
Repair or refurbishment consistent with standard wear and use.
Shampooing the wig or piece and cleaning the lace and interior
Cleaning of surface glue, tape or makeup from lace
Restyling your wig
Return shipping via standard USPS priority mail.

Please allow 30 days from the arrival of your wig.

At this time, our cleaning and restyling service is only available for clients in the US and the service is only available for pieces we created.

Due to seasonal scheduling demands, our Signature and Express Cleaning and Maintenance Services are not available for our Santa and Mrs. Claus clients. For Santa wigs or beard, please enroll in Santa Care, our special seasonal service for Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Express Wig Cleaning and Maintenance Service – $155

If you need your wig cleaned, restyled and returned quickly, our Express service is the answer! Express includes all the features of our Signature service but in half the time.

Please allow 14 days from the arrival of your wig for its return.

Expedited Return Shipping

Please note that return expedited shipping is not included in either Signature or Express service but may be added on to either. If you wish to have your wig returned via expedited shipping, please let us know when you send your piece. The cost will be added to your invoice based on the cost of shipping.

Wig Cleaning and Maintenance Packages

For our clients whose wigs need regular cleaning and maintenance, we’re pleased to offer both Signature and Express services in package form. The features of each service are the same, but they are available at a discounted price.

Please note that packages are not available for Santa or Mrs. Claus items at this time, due to seasonal schedule constraints. We are exploring options for adding in-season, quick turnaround options for Santa Care and hope to have more information on that ahead of the 2024 holiday season.

Signature Cleaning and Maintenance Packages

Package of 4 – $350 (save $50)
Package of 6 – $525 (save $75)
Package of 8 – $700 (save $100)

Express Cleaning and Maintenance Packages

Package of 4 – $550 (save $70)
Package of 6 – $ $825 (save $125)
Package of 8 – $1080 (save $160)

Packages are not transferable and must be used within 12 months of purchase. No refund will be given for unused services.

About repairs and changes to your pieces outside the scope of Cleaning and Restyling Service

Our service includes the repair of wear or tear issues consistent with normal use and proper care and handling. That may include, but is not limited to, filling in lost hair, deep conditioning, repair or reinforcement of the foundation or lace.

Wig Cleaning and Restyling does NOT include:

Repair due damage or mishandling, including to the lace
Removal of stubborn stains
Changes or alterations to the piece not in keeping with the original scope of the project.
Re-lacing or replacing or adding substantial amount of hair
Dye work or color changes
Creation of new hairpieces
Removal of glue, tape or makeup on lace

We will be happy to perform these services if needed, but additional charges will apply.

Not sure if your piece needs additional TLC?

If you think your piece needs more significant work, either due to damage or simply to change things up a bit, you can still send it in for service. Just indicate on the form that your piece has additional needs and our coordinator will get in touch with you once your piece has arrived. She’ll let you know what options are available for your piece and what the costs will be.
